To be Christian, ultimately, is to be like Christ; and one can never be like Christ without being entirely changed. We must get rid of the old nature. Faith is absolutely essential to the Christian's warfare. To love as God loves is indeed the goal of Christian life, but to reach that awesome peak, we must have a strong foundation. For a disciple of Christ, that foundation is faith. Hebrews 11 is a classic chapter of the Bible.

The book can be divided in many ways, although its themes aren't always apparent. Nonetheless, scholars have attempted to make some sense out of the structure of the book. Unlike other wisdom writings (like Proverbs with its pithy sayings), this book . A person filled with the love of God is anxious to bless others. “Love is one of the chief characteristics of Deity, and ought to be manifested by those who aspire to be the sons of God. A man filled with the love of God, is not content with blessing his family alone, but ranges through the whole world, anxious to bless the whole human race.” 2.

Center for Biblical Theology and Eschatology By the Faith of Christ, or Our Faith in Christ. by Tony Warren The most common distortion in the church today of 'the doctrine of Grace' is often illustrated in Christians attempting to make faith an action of our own conscience, on our part, rather than humbly accepting that the faith we have is the work and sovereign action of God.

Christian faith is centred on Christ; it is the confession that Jesus is Lord and that God has raised him from the dead (cf. Rom ). One of the three main elements of Christian character (1 Corinthians ).It is joined to faith and love, and is opposed to seeing or possessing (Romans ; 1 John ).

Jesus Christ is encouraging us to see the eternal rewards with the eye of faith so that we will put some serious effort into obtaining them.

Faith is an essential part of our religious life. Without faith it is impossible to please God and any spiritual change cannot occur.

So, faith is a very important factor in our life of faith. The Bible defines perfect faith as “faith accompanied by action,” not just the verbal expression of one’s belief (Jas –26).

Changing our old way of life into a new way of acting, thinking, speaking, and relating more like Christ is called QUOTE the three main obstacles to growth in the Christian life 1. the "world" as a system of relationships, ideas, and values, opposed to the Kingdom of God.

the Word-Faith movement is a radical wing of an orthodox tradition. [ ] Fourth, the Word-Faith movement teaches patently unbiblical ideas about the nature of God, the nature of human beings, and the person and redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

All of these qualities should characterize each of His followers. Just as surely as every Christian character should produce all nine segments of the fruit of the Spirit, so Christ's eight Beatitudes describe His ideal for every citizen of God's Kingdom.
